Meet Our Winter Residency - Ellie Ergenzinger

Ellie Ergenzinger is originally from Raleigh, NC and grew up taking dance at CC and Company. She graduated in 2020 and went on to study Dance Performance and Choreography at East Carolina University. During her time at ECU, Ellie performed and choreographed in various dance performances. Last summer, she had the opportunity to study abroad in Amsterdam, where she learned repertoire from world renowned choreographers including Crystal Pite. While at ECU, Ellie also received a grant to produce her own 30 minute choreographic work that illustrated the healing process for domestic violence victims. Ellie recently graduated with her BFA from ECU and she is now working as a dance instructor at CC and Company as well as teaching dance part time at Broughton High School.
